We’re seeking a professional and dependable Inspections Clerk to join a well-established and respected property organisation in Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a passion for property to become an integral part of a successful and growing team.
The Inspections Clerk will be responsible for ensuring that managed properties are well maintained, compliant, and presented to the highest standard. You’ll work closely with the property management team, tenants, and landlords to ensure every property inspection is carried out efficiently, accurately, and with exceptional customer care.
What You’ll Be Doing as an Inspections Clerk
- Conducting regular inspections of managed properties and completing accurate condition reports.
- Identifying maintenance issues and liaising with contractors or the property management team to arrange necessary works.
- Communicating effectively with landlords and tenants to ensure any concerns are promptly addressed.
- Maintaining up-to-date records and following company procedures for compliance and reporting.
- Supporting the wider property management team with administrative and operational duties.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within an estate agency, lettings, or property management environment.
- A professional, well-presented manner with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and an eye for detail when reporting on property condition.
- The confidence to work independently while representing the company’s brand.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.
