We’re working with a fantastic residential development in Birmingham that’s looking for a reliable, people-first professional to join their on-site team as a Resident Host – Day. This is a full-time, permanent role working a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern (6am–6pm) — ideal for someone who enjoys structure, variety, and working in a vibrant community setting.

 

As a Resident Host – Day, you’ll be at the heart of everything — supporting residents, contractors, and the wider team to keep the building running safely, smoothly, and to a high standard. You’ll be the face of the building throughout the day — whether that’s helping someone with a move-in, coordinating a contractor visit, or keeping things tidy and secure. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming residents and guests, answering queries, managing access and deliveries
• Logging and escalating maintenance issues and coordinating contractor attendance
• Carrying out daily patrols of communal areas, plant rooms, car parks and amenity spaces
• Monitoring CCTV and handling basic security protocols
• Managing keys and parcel lockers, and maintaining building handover and logbook notes
• Assisting with inspections, resident inductions, and building communications
• Supporting day-to-day admin tasks including meter readings, fire system checks, and reporting

This is a full-time, permanent position offering the chance to grow your rural and infrastructure experience within a dynamic and high-performing asset management team.

 

As an Infrastructure Surveyor, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing estate and property management tasks across rural portfolios — from valuations and lettings to stakeholder engagement and strategic advice. • Handling rent reviews, lease renewals and overseeing maintenance works

• Advising on estate diversification, disposals, and long-term portfolio strategy
• Supporting the implementation of legal and policy frameworks in all surveying activities

✅ Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with experience in rural and infrastructure sectors
✅ RICS Registered Valuer with solid valuation experience preferred
✅ Member or probationer of CAAV desirable
✅ Confident working knowledge of relevant legislation and property management processes
✅ Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen and people skills
✅ Team-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to develop and maintain key relationships
✅ Full UK driving licence required for regional site visits
