Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Building Manager, you’ll be at the heart of operations, ensuring tenants enjoy a seamless living experience. Your role will involve:
- Supporting day-to-day building management – Assist the Building Manager with leasing, operations, and administration.
- Tenant onboarding & referencing – Ensure smooth move-ins, check eligibility, and process references efficiently.
- Managing tenant enquiries – Respond to queries via phone, email, and online portals while booking and conducting viewings.
- Rental payments & lease coordination – Support the lease team in handling deals, renewals, and payment processes.
- Maintenance & contractor liaison – Log repair requests, instruct contractors, and oversee progress to maintain high living standards.
- Property inspections & end-of-tenancy – Conduct check-in/check-out inspections and oversee any necessary repairs.
- Supporting lease renewals – Assist in securing lease extensions and keeping tenants informed.
- General support – Aiding other team members where necessary to ensure excellent customer service
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Experience in property management, lettings, or building operations.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Strong communication skills – Comfortable liaising with tenants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy – Familiarity with property management platforms (e.g., FixFlo, Inventory Hive) is an advantage.
