    Your Role as a Property Legal Secretary/Administrator

    As a Property Legal Secretary/Administrator, you will be a key part of the conveyancing team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in legal processes. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Providing administrative and secretarial support to fee earners within the property department.
    • Preparing legal documents, correspondence, and reports with precision and attention to detail.
    • Handling client communications professionally, ensuring excellent service and timely responses.
    • Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and organising case files efficiently.
    • Conducting Land Registry searches and assisting with conveyancing transactions.
    • Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    As a Residential Conveyancer, you will play a vital role in handling a diverse caseload of property transactions from instruction through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

    ✅ Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including freehold, leasehold, sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
    ✅ Conducting title checks, raising and reviewing enquiries, drafting contracts, and ensuring smooth progress throughout the transaction.
    ✅ Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors to provide outstanding service and proactive updates.
    ✅ Handling exchange of contracts and completion processes efficiently and accurately.
    ✅ Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices in conveyancing.

    What We’re Looking For

    • A qualified Residential Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Licensed Conveyancer with a proven track record in handling residential property transactions.
    • Strong technical knowledge and a detail-oriented approach to legal documentation.
