Surveyor | £40,000 – £50,000 | Birmingham | Full-time
We are looking for a talented Surveyor to join our growing team in Birmingham. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse mix of projects across regeneration, transport, energy, and sustainability. Our clients include infrastructure providers, developers, local authorities, and private landowners, giving you exposure to a wide variety of work.
As a Surveyor, you’ll provide professional property advice, manage valuations, and support acquisitions and disposals across different property types. This role is ideal for someone who wants to broaden their skills, support graduate colleagues, and progress their career within a respected consultancy.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Surveyor
- Preparing valuations and reports across residential, rural, commercial, and industrial property.
- Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, and estate management matters.
- Producing clear, accurate valuation documents in line with industry standards.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Working closely with senior colleagues while managing your own caseload effectively.
- Supporting and mentoring graduate surveyors as part of their development.
- Playing an active role in business development and regional growth opportunities.
- Helping to refine internal processes and ensuring compliance across all projects.
What We’re Looking For
- MRICS qualified, ideally also a Registered Valuer.
- Experience in valuations, estates management, or general surveying work.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Confident communicator with good report-writing ability.
- Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach.
- Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel when needed.
