What You’ll Be Doing as a (Service Charge Accountant)
- Overseeing the financial health of a diverse residential portfolio as a Service Charge Accountant.
- Managing the preparation and distribution of annual year-end certificates.
- Executing detailed budget-to-actual variance analysis for property developments.
- Collaborating with property managers to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintaining rigorous audit trails and resolving complex financial queries as a Service Charge Accountant.
- Supporting the wider finance team during a period of significant business expansion.
- Acting as a pivotal Service Charge Accountant to ensure all statutory deadlines are met.
What We’re Looking For
- Substantial experience in property-related finance or service charge accounting.
- Strong technical ability in reconciliations and balance sheet management.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule with 2 days in the Manchester office and 3 days from home.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining financial data to non-finance staff.
- A highly organised Service Charge Accountant with a keen eye for detail.
