This is a full-time, permanent role — ideal for a candidate with MRICS status who is passionate about strategic advisory work and the rural property space.
As a Senior Surveyor, you’ll be an integral part of a collaborative team, delivering tailored property solutions with a strong rural and compensation focus. From valuations and claims to relationship development and team mentorship, this role offers excellent variety and autonomy.

What you’ll be doing as a Senior Surveyor:
As a trusted expert within the Infrastructure division, you’ll be responsible for providing strategic and operational advice across a range of rural property projects. Key areas of focus include:
- Valuing rural property and land in line with market best practices
- Negotiating compensation and acquisitions (temporary and permanent)
- Driving new business development opportunities, especially within claimant and landowner markets
- Providing mentorship to junior colleagues and managing team deliverables
- Ensuring all work adheres to current legislation and internal compliance frameworks
- Supporting the evolution of internal processes and systems
- Playing an active role in both tactical delivery and long-term strategy planning

What We’re Looking For
✅ Chartered (MRICS) Surveyor and Registered Valuer
✅ Solid background in rural property work, with knowledge of compensation and compulsory purchase
✅ Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and a commitment to quality service
✅ Natural relationship-builder, able to maintain and grow key client connections
✅ Motivated to drive initiatives forward while mentoring others
✅ Valid UK driving licence and comfortable with regional travel when required
