What You’ll Be Doing as a Senior Service Charge Accountant
- Prepare, verify, and upload annual property expenditure budgets.
- Issue precise demands for ground rents and tenant maintenance fees.
- Draft year-end financial statements and liaise with third-party auditors.
- Calculate utility and insurance recharges for portfolio leaseholders.
- Administer property tax responsibilities and financial compliance.
- Support the wider estate management team with financial reporting.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven background working as a Senior Service Charge Accountant.
- Strong mathematical skills with proficiency in financial analysis and Excel.
- Prior experience or familiarity utilizing software for block management.
- Professional accounting qualifications like ACCA, CIMA, or AAT.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and handle leaseholder inquiries.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
