Job Title: Property Manager
Location: Near Harlow
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (no weekends)
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Property Manager to join a dynamic team near Harlow. This role is heavily focused on property maintenance and inspections, ensuring that the portfolio of properties is well-maintained and compliant with relevant standards. You will play a vital role in supporting landlords and tenants by delivering excellent service and handling property-related queries efficiently.
Key Responsibilities for The Property Manager:
- Organise and oversee property maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
- Conduct regular property inspections and provide detailed reports.
- Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues and liaise with tenants and landlords.
- Ensure properties comply with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate check-ins, check-outs, and mid-term tenancy inspections.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all administration is completed in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in lettings or as a Property Manager is essential.
- Driving Licence: A full, clean UK driving licence and it is preferred if you have access to your own vehicle.
- Skills: Excellent organisational and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with property management software and understanding of relevant legislation (e.g., landlord responsibilities, health and safety standards).
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
