We’re working with a forward-thinking residential operator in East London that’s seeking a confident and proactive Nights Resident Host to join their team at a landmark development. This full-time, permanent role follows a 4 on / 4 off night shift pattern and offers a great opportunity to take ownership of the building overnight — providing reassurance, consistency, and service to residents outside of typical working hours.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Nights Resident Host:

As the overnight presence on site, you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding the building and supporting residents. You’ll act as the go-to person for out-of-hours needs and ensure that everything stays secure, safe, and running smoothly. Responsibilities will include:

Welcoming late arrivals, handling resident queries, and maintaining a professional front-of-house
Monitoring CCTV and managing access and security procedures
Escalating and reporting maintenance issues and coordinating emergency responses
Conducting regular checks of communal and plant areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
Logging shift notes, completing handovers, and updating systems with overnight activity
Handling complaints and incidents with calm and professional judgement
Supporting a consistent resident experience and high building standards throughout the night

As a Nights Resident Host, your presence will give residents confidence and continuity, while ensuring the building is cared for overnight.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Previous experience in customer-facing environments (hospitality, facilities, residential or concierge)
✅ Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
✅ Comfortable working independently and making decisions overnight
✅ Basic IT literacy (email, digital logging/reporting, CCTV etc.)
✅ A reliable and trustworthy attitude with high attention to detail
✅ Calm under pressure and able to handle occasional incidents with maturity
