What You’ll Be Doing as a Motor Claims Handler
- Manage diverse motor claims from first-party damage to third-party property loss.
- Investigate liability and settle disputed cases using initiative and proactive decision-making.
- Liaison with policyholders, insurers, and repairers to ensure high service standards.
- Detect potential claims leakage and flag fraudulent activity for investigation.
- Execute subrogation and cost recovery from responsible third parties.
- Update stakeholders regularly and resolve complaints following regulatory guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
- Solid motor insurance experience with a focus on liability assessment.
- Strong customer service skills and experience resolving complex disputes.
- Proficiency in fraud detection and the end-to-end recovery process.
- Cert CII qualified or currently pursuing professional insurance studies.
- Flexibility to work from a regional hub 3 days per week.
- Technical expertise required for a specialist Motor Claims Handler.
- Ambition to progress as a professional Motor Claims Handler.
