As an Infrastructure Surveyor, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing estate and property management tasks across rural portfolios — from valuations and lettings to stakeholder engagement and strategic advice. What you’ll be doing as an Infrastructure Surveyor:
You’ll be a key figure in the day-to-day delivery of asset management and surveying services, working directly with clients, tenants, and contractors. You’ll also help shape long-term strategy and mentor others in the team. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing rural assets including Farm Business and Common Law Tenancies
- Handling rent reviews, lease renewals and overseeing maintenance works
- Delivering rural land and property valuations with accuracy and professionalism
- Leading property lettings and managing competitive tender processes
- Engaging with stakeholders and landowners at all levels to build trust and cooperation
- Advising on estate diversification, disposals, and long-term portfolio strategy
- Supporting the implementation of legal and policy frameworks in all surveying activities
- Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their professional development

What We’re Looking For
✅ Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with experience in rural and infrastructure sectors
✅ RICS Registered Valuer with solid valuation experience preferred
✅ Member or probationer of CAAV desirable
✅ Confident working knowledge of relevant legislation and property management processes
✅ Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen and people skills
✅ Team-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to develop and maintain key relationships
✅ Full UK driving licence required for regional site visits
