What You’ll Be Doing as a Head of Property Management
- In this role, you’ll be leading the day-to-day running of the Property Management team, making sure everything stays on track and priorities are clear. You’ll support the team in hitting their targets, keep standards high, and step in when things get more complex.
- You’ll also play a key part in the legal recovery of properties — preparing court paperwork and representing the business during hearings when needed.
- On top of that, you’ll oversee rent collection, take action early when arrears arise, and coordinate repossessions where required (working closely with law enforcement and locksmiths).
- You’ll manage the full tenancy lifecycle too — from renewals through to check-outs — while ensuring all compliance is handled on time, including gas and electrical safety certifications and any required local authority licences.
- You’ll act as the go-to person for escalated repairs and resident concerns, serve statutory notices in line with current legislation, and help promote the wider services we offer, like sales and lettings, to existing clients.

- While not strictly required, industry-recognised certifications like ARLA, NAEA, or NFOPP are highly valued.
- A self-motivated leader with a proven ability to maintain high quality control across a department.
