Role Overview for Credit Controller
- Producing weekly aged debtor summaries and reporting commentary for investor updates.
- Aligning all portfolio billing dates to a single monthly cycle.
- Maintaining resident records and lease files in Qube.
- Driving resident debt recovery via calls, structured letters, and escalations alongside site managers.
- Tracking bad debt risks with finance teams and managing quarterly write-offs.
- Handling legal actions for arrears, including serving Section 8/21 notices and prepping court paperwork.
- Managing ledger updates, unposted charges, pro-rata calculations, and tenancy exit reconciliations.
Essential Requirements for Credit Controller
- Capability to meet key Credit Controller KPIs and refine ledger processes.
- Background in legal debt recovery, court prep, and bailiff instructions.
- Hands-on proficiency with Qube within residential property.
- Excellent customer relation skills with an energetic, self-driven work ethic.
- AAT, ACCA, CIMA qualification or equivalent accounting background.
