Are you an experienced finance professional available immediately and looking for a short-term role with long-term potential? A well-established property business is seeking a Credit Controller to join their finance team on a fixed-term basis, covering sick leave for approximately four weeks — with the possibility of a temp-to-perm transition.
As a Credit Controller, you’ll play a key part in supporting the accounts department, managing debt collection processes, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. This role is well-suited to someone confident, organised, and capable of hitting the ground running in a professional, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Credit Controller:
- Chasing overdue payments by phone and email
- Maintaining accurate customer records and payment logs
- Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts
- Liaising with internal teams and clients regarding billing queries
- Preparing weekly reports for management review
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required
What We’re Looking For:
To succeed in this Credit Controller role, you’ll need:
✅ Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable
✅ Sage 200 experience is essential
✅ Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with clients
✅ Good working knowledge of finance systems and Excel
✅ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
✅ Availability for an immediate start with flexibility on working days and hours
