Seeking a Business Development Manager for a global insurance and risk group to expand safety training and risk mitigation services. This role involves securing new contracts and managing high-value accounts within the construction and civil engineering sectors to improve site safety and regulatory adherence.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Business Development Manager
- Hit and exceed individual revenue milestones through a strategic sales plan.
- Recommend bespoke safety programmes by evaluating site-specific risks during consultations.
- Promote essential site safety qualifications, vocational construction frameworks, and management-level risk courses.
- Secure high-value contracts within the civil engineering, construction, and infrastructure markets.
- Perform regular face-to-face site visits and maintain a high volume of outbound activity.
- Introduce a wider range of risk and safety services to maximise revenue from current accounts.
- Deliver pitches and draft detailed commercial tenders for senior industry stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive background in B2B sales specifically within the construction, civil engineering, or related sectors.
- Experience selling professional solutions directly to construction and/or related industry.
- Proven history of hitting targets as a Business Development Manager.
- Skilled in writing formal tenders and presenting to senior boards.
- Ability to diagnose client needs and provide technical solutions.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for client meetings.
