Working Hours: Monday to Friday, standard business hours
- Preparing valuations for rural land and property.
- Negotiating compensation and disturbance claims with landowners and claimants.
- Building relationships locally and identifying opportunities for new business.
- Managing leases, acquisitions, disposals, and other land deals.
- Carrying out feasibility checks and development appraisals.
- Securing access agreements for infrastructure works.
- Advising on changes in legislation and sector processes.
- Overseeing due diligence and supporting project delivery.
- Coaching and guiding surveyors and junior team members.
- Helping improve processes and promoting best practice.
- Representing the business professionally with clients and stakeholders.
- MRICS Surveyor and Registered Valuer.
- Experience in rural surveying is helpful, with exposure to commercial or residential property an advantage.
- Knowledge of compulsory purchase desirable, though training is available.
- Good understanding of property law and strong problem-solving skills.
- Commercially minded with the ability to develop new business.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and keen to develop your career.
- Full UK driving licence required.
