We’re delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Assistant Building Manager to join a leading residential living brand in North London.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised professional to support the smooth running of high-end residential properties. The Assistant Building Manager will work closely with senior management to ensure all buildings operate efficiently, residents receive an exceptional level of service, and maintenance standards are consistently upheld.
 
What You’ll Be Doing as an Assistant Building Manager
  • Support the Building Manager with day-to-day operations across premium residential developments.
  • Oversee the delivery of excellent customer service and act as a key point of contact for residents, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure all maintenance, cleaning, and health & safety tasks are carried out to the required standard.
  • Assist with property inspections, compliance checks, and building audits to maintain smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure timely and efficient resolution of any maintenance issues.
  • Support financial administration tasks including budget monitoring, invoicing, and purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of building performance, maintenance schedules, and compliance reports.
  • Work collaboratively with on-site teams to promote community events and enhance resident satisfaction.
  • Step in to deputise for the Building Manager during periods of absence.
 
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in a residential, hospitality, or facilities management environment.
  • A proactive and organised individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of property operations, maintenance processes, and compliance procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • IT literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and building management systems.
  • A customer-focused attitude with the ability to build strong relationships with residents and colleagues.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH certification is desirable but not essential.
